Event Details

The 2011 Nevada Film Festival will be held in Las Vegas, December 2nd and 3rd, 2011 at the Rampart Casino at the Resort in Summerlin.

Taking place each year in the beautiful and exciting city of Las Vegas, the Nevada Film Festival is the Silver State’s annual celebration of the very best in American and international cinema, bringing together top independent filmmakers, growing audiences and the film industry professionals who make it all possible.

The Nevada Film Festival offers filmgoers a rare opportunity to meet the filmmakers.  Directors, screenwriters, cinematographers and actors eager to share their work will provide an exclusive inside look at the industry during post-screening Q&A's.

Set in the world's entertainment capital, and only a three and a half hour drive from Hollywood, the Festival will host several world premieres, galas and parties for a singular festival experience. Films will be shown in the city that boasts one of the largest movie consumer groups in the world, a rich filmmaking history as well as fine dining, shopping, and exceptional recreational activities.

This year's festival line-up will include both award-winning and world premiere feature films, documentaries, short films, foreign films, animations, music videos, experimental films, a screenplay competition, and an actor's showcase.  Films of many genres will be screened including drama, comedy, action, horror, family and more.  At NFF, films are selected solely on the basis of their merits, with an eye for great screenwriting, originality and storytelling.
